Guidelines for Providing Data to Capitalytics
Capitalytics analyzes not only data from public sources, but also data incorporated into our databases from proprietary sources. We receive this proprietary data into our SAS-70 compliant data center and servers through a prescribed secure communication process.
Generally, data must be provided in a conforming format for Capitalytics to incorporate it into our databases and to prepare analytics based on the data. "Conforming data" includes data encoded using standards-compliant YAML, JSON, or XML. (See the provided links for official specifications of these data encoding schemes.) We also accept CSV encoded data that is submitted with sufficient identifying information (i.e., a data schema; e.g., field names being provided in the corresponding locations of the file's first record). Acceptance of other data formats is negotiable; please contact us to discuss any specific needs.
The details of our secure communication process, including the specific fields that we collect and how those fields are used, will be provided under a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Please contact us for additional information.
